Forum Art Youth Art Show & Open House

Our Youth Art Show is Saturday, March 10th from noon – 1 at the Forum Art Centre, 120 Eugenie Street. A fun, fast event showcasing art from our artists aged 7 – 16. These artists also select their favourite piece from their collection and all classes vote to see who will receive the Youth Choice Award.

That same day from 1 – 4 please drop in for our Open House & Registration for our 2018 Spring session of art classes. There will be artists to demonstrate some mediums we offer, they’ll show you around our facility & of course answer any questions about art that you may have. Our classes start April 2. Local restaurants, cafés, and bakeries throughout St.Boniface are invited to join in the spirit of Festival du Voyageur and create an appetizer, entrée, desert and/or beverage inspired by this unique event. Jeremie and the Delicious Hounds
Jérémie & The Delicious Hounds are new-age fosterers of soul music. They are, however, bringing it with a twist. The band is from the old French quarter of St Boniface, Winnipeg. Jérémie Brémault’s smooth, smoky voice, and earnest stage presence wrings that authentic soul sound into the group’s wide-ranging style. They call it the “delicious sound” – say it fast enough and you’ll hear where these crafty musicians get their name.

 

 

 

 

Justin Lacroix
Winnipeg’s bilingual singer-songwriter Justin Lacroix infuses the timeless sounds of blues, folk and roots-rock into a soulful experience. Through his stories of love, loss and life on the road, Justin shares a message of optimism and connection to the world around him.

 

 

 

 

Renee Lamoureux
Born and raised in Ile Des Chênes. a small French town south of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Renee is an award winning artist Renée Lamoureux is a Canadian bilingual Métis singer songwriter. Receiving the 2016 Female Artist of the Year Award at the Manitoba Country Music Awards (MCMA).
