Swords & Sabres

Annually Norwood Grove Business Improvement Zone (NGB) hosts a festival that brings together the community and invites visitors from outside the community to join in celebration. The event evolved into a Pirate, Renaissance, Steam Punk and Viking themed festival in 2011 and was reviewed as a huge success.

The Norwood Community welcomed visitors from all over Winnipeg. Attendees both young and young at heart dressed up in themed attire for the event and joined in the celebration through dance, games, merchant sales, food and activities.

With an expected attendance of over 3000 people, they will be able to browse through merchant tables, information booths, arts and crafts and enjoy the variety of entertainment.
